उझानी (बदायूं)। नगर के स्टेशन रोड स्थित नमन ज्वैलर्स की दुकान पर बीती रात चोरी की कोशिश को पुलिस और स्थानीय लोगों की सतर्कता से नाकाम कर दिया गया। पुलिस ने मौके से एक आरोपी को कटर सहित पकड़ लिया।<\/p>\n

जानकारी के अनुसार, देर रात करीब 12 बजे एक चोर दुकान की छत पर चढ़कर कटर से छत काटने लगा। पास में रहने वाले चन्द्र प्रकाश गुप्ता को तेज आवाज सुनाई दी, जिसके बाद उन्होंने तुरंत दुकान मालिक राकेश जिंदल को फोन कर सूचना दी।<\/p>\n

सूचना मिलते ही राकेश जिंदल मौके की ओर दौड़े। इसी दौरान वहां गश्त कर रहे पुलिसकर्मी अकुंश कसाना भी पहुंच गए। उन्होंने तुरंत कोतवाली से अन्य पुलिसकर्मियों को बुलाया।<\/p>\n

पुलिस की आहट मिलते ही आरोपी छत से कूदकर भागने लगा, लेकिन पुलिस ने पीछा कर उसे मौके से ही कटर सहित पकड़ लिया और कोतवाली ले आई।<\/p>\n

पूछताछ में आरोपी ने अपना नाम बृजेश पुत्र लक्ष्मण निवासी नेकपुर गली नंबर 4 बताया है। पुलिस आरोपी से पूछताछ कर रही है और मामले की गहन जांच में जुटी है।<\/p>\n
